Frayed edges of evening

A hummingbird moth dipped in and out of the flowers as the sun took its last bow.

Our cat considered joining the circus, but jumping through hoops seemed like too much effort.

Sunlit handsome Teddy admired the moth.

The girl with perfect balance took some whirls around the circle.

The boy with a fabulous grin posed for some bokeh.

The girl with the ice cream cone earrings concentrated on the baseball.

The moth's wings beat so fast that they were only a blur to the human eye.  By camera shutter speed, the motion was frozen and you can see the frayed edges.  This pink-spotted hawk moth was as worn out as the day.

Right before hopping on the long board, the doc commented, "You could injure yourself with this."

Even naughty dogs take on an angelic glow at sunset.               (photo by Fritz)
