The Amber of Photography

When we take out our cameras, I'm amazed by the story Fritz captures. He sees the small details, the beautiful angles, and the perfect lighting. He will lay on the dewy ground to get the best shot or walk around his subject as if he is contemplating a putt on the golf green. As we sit side by side at the computer, I ask him how he achieved his results. Fritz tutors me on how I could improve my photos. It is a pack and go hobby and a journey of crystalizing "once in a lifetime" moments in a type of amber called photography.

When I gaze at these photos of Fritz's, I am drawn to our Maker who designed a world of beauty. Truly, we serve Jesus, the Beautiful One, the one without equal. He designed from his character and when He stepped back He saw that, "It was good."
