The Triathlete

Ben hurtled over the finish line of his first super sprint triathlon and placed fifth of 57 contestants and 3rd in the men of his triathlon.  His hours of training and cold swims paid off.

Ben meticulously fixed up a 45 dollar pawn shop bike that was manufactured the year he graduated from high school.   It was just meant to be.  The man who turned his muscles into metal melded seamlessly with his aluminum bike and put out an impressive 18.7 mph.

A running transition from his swim.

Ben swam here.   Preoccupied me forgot to take lake photos on race day, but believe me, it was a hub of activity and swim caps in all different colors.
