Happy 14th Birthday, Emily.  You are lovely.  Your quiet spirit before God sustains me.  You are always pointing my eyes to the Lord.   I love that you share a song when we are weary and a beautiful smile that lights up the room.   You are an exceedingly generous giver of yourself, because you are passionate about the Best Giver, Jesus.  Dear quirky and kind Emily, you are so loved that even the bulldogs made you their queen.

One of our twins turned 12!

Born on different sides of the planet, our twins still share a special bond.  What an incredible gift God planned for our family when he brought us a daughter 12 years ago and her twin, our son, 5 years ago.  Jane, your name means the same as mine - God is gracious.  May you continue to grow in your knowledge that God is exceedingly gracious.   Jesus treats us so tenderly.  Jesus always gives us better than we can imagine.  He gives us himself when our souls thirst for him.  You are a blessing to us and blessed by the Living God.    What a happy day you were born.

Colorado Springs in 2 days

With beautiful weather in the mid to upper 70s, we spent most of our 2 days in Colorado Springs outdoors.  We found some amazing free things to explore:

4. Old Colorado City downtown
5. North Cheyenne Canon Park
6. The Broadmoor historic neighborhood
